Over the last two years, we’ve faced some of the most challenging public health and economic challenges of our lifetimes. The journey we have been on as a nation has reinforced the critical importance of mental health and wellbeing. Employers and workers from across Aotearoa have risen to the challenge: adapting, growing and getting through together.
We’ve been blown away by some of the work that has been happening in Kiwi workplaces to improve how we talk about and address mental health at work. We want to hear about this mahi and kaupapa. The little victories. The big breakthroughs. And above all, we want to hear your stories. Stories of courage, perseverence, innovation and leadership. Stories of changed lives, empowered workers and thriving workplaces.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that entries are open for the HeadFit Awards 2022!
It’s time for us to recognise and celebrate the individuals, HR ninjas, health safety & wellbeing heroes, leaders, teams and workplaces who are helping to lean this company forwards when it comes to workplace mental health. The awards are broken into three divisions:
- Individual Awards
- Programme and Exellence Awards
- Workplace Awards
With over 15 awards categories, you’re sure to find the right one for you, your project or team. You can choose to nominate other individuals, teams and workplaces that you admire. And you can submit entries showcasing the individuals, teams and programmes within your the workplace that are changing the game when it comes to mental health.
If you have an idea for an award entry but are not sure which category to enter, please contact us and we can give you a steer. The judges can also shift your entry if they don’t think you’ve entered the most appropriate category.
Whether you’re entering yourself or nominating someone else, there’s so much excellent work happening across New Zealand workplaces — and we want to hear about it. By winning an award, the winner can:
- have their great work recognised
- grow their confidence and brand
- have their work showcased to inspire other Kiwi workplaces
- celebrate and connect with their peers at the gala dinner and awards ceremony
- enjoy potential opportunities for interviews, editorials and other media coverage
We’re really keen to receive nominations too. So if you know another individual, team or workplace that is excelling, inspiring and leading in workplace mental health, please nominate them! By nominating a deserving person or team, you’re helping us to discover and celebrate the quiet achievers and unsung heroes.
