Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Black, White & Brindle is an emerging contemporary rock band featuring Thomas Partington, Dylan Shore, Damon Kane, Caleb Hooper and Nikau Van der Coer. Playing at events and venues across Auckland, Black, White & Brindle is a versatile group -- playing a mix of original music and contemporary rock. Their latest single Don't Get Ahead of Yourself is available on Amazon, Apple Music Spotify and Deezer.
Jonathan is an experienced accompanist, choral director and baritone soloist. Currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Waikato, he has completed a Master's Degree in Piano Performance with First Class Honours. Jonathan plays a wide variety of historic keyboards (harpsichord, clavichord, organ and fortepiano), and has performed on the harpsichord in ensembles in both Auckland and Waikato. Jonathan is also an experienced choral conductor, currently directing choirs in the Auckland and Waikato districts.
Venessa is a versatile soprano with a passion for classical music, opera and musical theatre. She is a recipient of the Te Amorangi Scholarship and has performed competitively -- winning or placing at regional singing competitions in New Zealand. Venessa has performed as a guest artist at events, including for The Chiefs Super Rugby at FMG Stadium in Hamilton. Venessa is supported by vocal coach Ian Campbell and was recently invited to join the Auckland and Waikato Artists Roster for Dame Malvina Major Foundation.
